Todowing

Todowing is a Chrome extension for the Todoist web app. Todoist flattens sub-tasks in the Today, Upcoming, Filter and Label views. Todowing shows them as nested trees under their parent, up to four levels deep, and lets you complete or reopen sub-tasks straight from the list.

The free version shows nested sub-tasks, includes seven color palettes and a text-size slider (85% to 200%), and caps each top-level task at 5 sub-task rows. It needs no account.

The lifetime unlock costs $19.99 once, with no subscription, and includes all future upgrades. It removes the row cap and adds: adding, renaming and reordering sub-tasks, a toggle to hide completed sub-tasks, filing a task under a parent in another project without moving it, focus sessions with a countdown card and per-task time estimates, a notes pad above the Today list, 50 Google Fonts for the Todoist interface, and read-only Apple Calendar events on Today for up to five calendars. Refunds are available for 14 days.

Todowing is for Todoist users who work in the web app in Chrome. Any Todoist plan works, and Pro is not required. Your Todoist API token stays in your browser and goes only to the official Todoist API. Tasks do not pass through Todowing servers, and the extension has no analytics or tracking. Todowing is an independent companion extension and is not affiliated with Doist.
